Treasurer
Alasdair has lived in Culduthel Park for 25 years and, with a background in finance, is pleased to be able to oversee the treasury function for the woodland project.
Alasdair lived in Aberdeenshire until he relocated to Inverness, along with his wife, following his retirement two years ago.
He enjoys the outdoors, hillwalking, cycling, birding and photography and is interested in all environmental matters.
Secretary
Caroline lives nearby in Holm and, since retiring from the NHS has been involved in various conservation and citizen science projects. She has a keen interest in botany, particularly focusing on improving and enriching the dwindling green spaces in and around Inverness.
David is retired, lives in Culduthel Park beside the woods and is glad to see the woodland being cared for again after many years of neglect.
Ian is a Director of a local Plant & Tool Hire business and was brought up in Lochardil on one side of the woods and now lives in Culduthel on the other side of the woods. Ian is very looking forward to being involved and giving back to the local community.
Irene moved to Lochardil in 1985 and is now retired and is pleased to help the group with the management of the woods which she has enjoyed walking in, with various dogs, over many years. Irene lives locoally and has two adult sons who attended Inverness Royal Academy.
Morven is a Depute Rector at Inverness Royal Academy where she has taught for over 12 years. With a background in Environmental Geography and Education, she is pleased to support the care and development of the local woods. Morven is a self-confessed travel addict and is a keen foodie.
Chair
Ruaridh is a recent graduate of the UHI School of Foresty in Inverness and lives locally. He is interested in all things to do with outdoor environment and is a keen artist, climber and mountaineer.
