Murray lives near Stratherrick Road and has two daughters who were at Inverness Royal Academy. Murray used to work on visitor management, community, planning and sustainable tourism issues at the Cairngorms National Park Authority. He is interested in all things to do with the environment and the outdoors including woodland management, mountains, cycling, canoeing and Scouts.
