WOW!!! What an amazing day at our first Gathering event to celebrate community ownership of the woods. We had over 200 people there in the afternoon - many more than expected - and had a lot of fun.

Very many thanks to Karen Darke for the formal opening, to Matthias Hamilton for piping, for all the speeches (Drew Hendry MP, Cllr Alasdair Christie and Caroline Philips) and to all the activity providers - including Lochardil and Drummond Community Council and Stratherrick Scouts, Inverness and Spokes For Folks. And thanks to local professional photographer, Paul Campbell for the brilliant pictures. This event was part of the Highland Climate Festival organised by North Highlands & Islands Climate Action Hub.
