Murray lives near Stratherrick Road, has two daughters who were at Inverness Royal Academy and used to work at the Cairngorms National Park Authority on visitor management, community, planning and sustainable tourism. He is interested in all things to do with the environment and outdoors including woodland management, mountains, cycling, canoeing and Scouts.
